Summary
As you can see in this portfolio, the LSTE program has helped me to gain knowledge and skills in the areas of technology management, instructional design, assessment/evaluation, research & writing, and technological resources. My courses have also given me the opportunity to apply what I have learned through the completion of a wide variety of assignments, from creating lesson plans to projects, research assignments to papers, and online course content to a complete website.
Creating this portfolio has allowed me to reflect on how far I have developed technically, creatively, and knowledge-wise in the area of educational technology. I came into this program two years ago not knowing where it would lead me, but knowing that it was the only graduate program I had found that truly aligned with my passion for integrating technology and imagination with supported theories and principles to make learning (1) possible, (2) engaging, and (3) meaningful. |
I believe that learning in general is a life-long journey, and look forward to continuing to learn and grow on the job after graduation. Whether in a school, government, company, foundation, or smaller nonprofit setting, I am open to and feel equipped to begin a career as an educational design specialist.
