Through my studies, I have learned how to develop educational technology products that are designed to facilitate learning.and focus on meeting instructional objectives. I used software programs (e.g., PowerPoint; Articulate Storyline) and web tools (e.g., Prezi; Zunal; Glogster; CourseSites) to create a variety of products. While the products' subject content differs, I designed each with the intent of making them both meaningful and engaging. Utilizing multimedia was a key part of that intent.
The instructional products I have designed reflect my philosophy in that they focus on the interconnection of subject areas, especially the integration of the arts and of technology. I designed each product with the intended learner in mind, including students and educators at a wide variety of levels (e.g., elementary through the collegiate level), as well as by considering the intended learning environment (i.e., synchronous, asynchronous) and approach (i.e., constructivist, directed).
